The High Times Kinship was founded on the 17th of June 2008 as a "casual-play-style" kinship/guild for the game Lord of the Rings Online, in which players could find a community of like minded players of the game that wished to explore content, crafting, questing, and raiding without the constraints of mandatory raid attendance, scheduled play hours, and other "less-than-fun" kinship/guild mandates.
